Nestled in the heart of Birdsboro, PA, at 118 Church St, Astine Furniture and Design is a haven for those seeking exceptional artisanal furniture and decor.  In 2012, Perry Augustine created his first live-edge project–a kitchen island for his home.  That project re-ignited his passion for working with his hands and his creative side.  Formally trained in both business and education, Perry undertook learning all about live edge carpentry, epoxy resin, acrylic pouring and fractal art burning.  Since Perry grew up first learning basic construction skills from his father and over the years expanded his training and experience in masonry, carpentry and other construction trades, learning the artistic side seemed like a natural way to focus his creative passions.

By 2016, Astine Furniture was selling its live edge and furniture products to delighted customers and by 2020 Astine Furniture and Design LLC came to life.  Lead Artisan Perry Augustine focuses on simple yet creative designs that are functional and beautiful for any home or business.  Wood creations focus on highlighting the natural features and beauty within each design.  Astine Furniture and Design also marries recycled or repurposed pieces with new materials into its furniture and homegoods works.  AFD also helps businesses with their furniture, bartop, and counter needs as well.
